Today at Lymm MOT Centre, we had the absolute pleasure of working on one very very good-looking Abarth 124 Spider — and yes, it looked even better in person than in photos! 😍
This little Italian roadster is not just a pretty face — it’s full of character, performance, and enough personality to make your neighbour jealous. Here’s why the Abarth 124 Spider always turns heads:

We’d like to start the year by saying a another huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful customers who continue to trust us with their vehicles. Because of your support, we have once again been able to raise an amazing £685 for the incredible charity, Oliver Abel's Wish 💙
This is our second donation, adding to the £535 we donated in September last year. We pledged to donate £5 from every non-trade MOT and £10 from every combined non-trade MOT & service over a 12-month period — and it’s safe to say your cars have been working just as hard as we have to make this happen!
Oliver Abel's Wish provides special recording teddy bears to hospitals and hospices across the UK. These bears can hold the voice or heartbeat of a loved one, giving families comfort and something truly precious during the most difficult of times. A small teddy, with a very big job. 🧸💗
We’re really looking forward to handing over the cheque to Jilly and Simon soon. Thank you again to everyone who has played a part in helping us support such an amazing cause.

As we come to the end of 2025, our first year as an MOT centre, we just want to say a huge thank you to every single customer who has trusted us with their vehicles. Your support has meant the world to us, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better start.
Over the past year we’ve met some genuinely beautiful people, and we’ve honestly enjoyed every brew, every biscuit, and every chinwag along the way. It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know you all, not just your cars!
With Christmas just around the corner, we’d like to wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas next week, filled with warmth, laughter, and good company.

Today we had a customer visit us from Grappenhall, Warrington, for a pre-MOT check. As part of our safety routine, we make sure the vehicle has sufficient oil present before carrying out an MOT test.
But when we dipped the oil on this car… the tip of the dipstick came out with thick, gooey lumps. Not what you want to see! 👀
We immediately advised an oil change — and once we drained all the black cottage cheese and removed the oil filter, this is what we found 😱, Engine kaboom💥 imminent.
Anyway, 3 oil flushes and 3 filters later, and disaster averted with one very relieved, happy customer 😁
What makes this concerning is that the car had recently been purchased from a dealer, who stated it had a full service history. 😳.
